Introduction

Welcome to VeloCity, India's premier provider of micro-mobility solutions. These Terms & Conditions govern your rental and use of our vehicles, our website, our mobile application, and all interactions with our brand. By using our services and renting our vehicles, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from VeloCity, you must be 18 years of age or older. For certain vehicle models, a valid driver's license is mandatory. You affirm that you will use our vehicles only in a lawful, safe, and intended manner, adhering to all local traffic regulations.

Account and Rider Requirements

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account information for all rentals made through our service. This includes your contact details, government-issued ID, payment information, and driver's license where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account or rental at our discretion.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to allow any other person to use your VeloCity account to start a ride.

Vehicle Availability and Condition

We make every effort to ensure our fleet of bikes and scooters is well-maintained and available. However, vehicle availability at any specific location is not guaranteed. Before starting a ride, you are responsible for conducting a basic safety inspection of the vehicle (e.g., checking brakes, tires, lights). If you notice any damage, do not use the vehicle and report it immediately through the app.

Fees and Pricing

All rental fees are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes (like GST). You are charged a fee to unlock a vehicle, followed by a per-minute or per-hour rate as displayed in the app before you begin your ride. We accept various secure payment methods linked to your account. Prices for our services are subject to change without notice.

Ending a Ride and Parking

You are responsible for properly ending your ride via the VeloCity app within the designated service zone. You must park the vehicle responsibly in a legal parking spot, ensuring it does not obstruct pedestrian or vehicle traffic. Failure to end the ride correctly or parking in a no-parking zone may result in continued charges, fines, or account suspension.

Refunds and Disputes

Refunds are not automatically issued for completed rides. If you believe there has been a billing error or experienced a technical failure with the vehicle that impacted your ride, you must report the issue to our customer support team within 24 hours. All disputes will be investigated on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be credited to your VeloCity wallet or original payment method.

Intellectual Property and App Usage

The VeloCity name, logo, and all related service names, designs, and slogans are the intellectual property of VeloCity Mobility Pvt. Ltd. All content on our website and mobile application, including text, graphics, logos, and user interface elements, is our property and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Rider Conduct and Liability

Riders are solely responsible for their conduct while using a VeloCity vehicle. You must wear a helmet, obey all traffic laws, and never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You are liable for any fines, fees, or penalties incurred during your ride, as well as for any damage caused to the vehicle, third-party property, or individuals. Our total liability in connection with any ride is strictly limited to the fee paid for that specific ride.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute, the Courts of Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on our website and app. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
